BoardOnCoil™ Minnie mounts easily to a rod or tube, enabling efficient assembly.
BoardOnCoil Minnie can be used for pendant downlights, spot lights, sconces, acrylic rod lighting, and a wide variety of single-sided and double-sided directional fixtures. With different size options that comfortably fit inside MR11 and MR16 size envelopes (including optic and heat sink), these light sources are extremely compact. Powered up to 5 to 8 watts and capable of over 160 lumens per watt, these modules are entirely self-cooled, requiring no separate heat sinks.
The extreme power-to-size ratio is enabled by direct bonding of a copper coil and a clear path of air flow through the center of the assembly. The assemblies with optics weigh less than 20 grams. Available in almost every color and color temperature, as well as a variety of LED types, the BOC Minnie fits neatly into, or allows the miniaturization of, a variety of light fixtures.
